Dartmouth College is a private Ivy League research university in Hanover, New Hampshire, United States. Its 269-acre main campus is in the rural Upper Valley region of New England. Dartmouth is the ninth-oldest institution of higher education in the United States and is consistently included among the highest-ranked universities in the United States by several institutional rankings

Following a liberal arts curriculum, the university provides undergraduate instruction in 40 academic departments and interdisciplinary programs including 57 majors in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering, and enables students to design specialized concentrations or engage in dual degree programs. Dartmouth comprises five constituent schools: the original undergraduate college, the Geisel School of Medicine, the Thayer School of Engineering, the Tuck School of Business, and the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies.

The Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship

Dartmouth’s Magnuson Center offers a wide-range of educational programming, internship support, and off-campus trek experiences that help students and faculty build an entrepreneurial skill set. It provides a wide-range of startup support programming including weekly venture office hours and early stage seed grants to help faculty and student startups develop new ventures. The center engages alumni through DEN (Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network) City Chapters, events, and partnerships that enable Dartmouth students and faculty to work for alumni-led companies and startups.
